The Triumph Awards scholarship program was created to foster opportunities for young cancer survivors to continue their education after high school. For many survivors, the dream of college is unimaginable - Not because they do not have the intelligence or grades, but because of the steep costs that are required to treat their cancer. This disease has devastated the nest eggs and financial security of countless American families.

Our scholarship program receives many survivor requests for assistance. The partner university or college verify student qualification in the program and disburse all funds. Individual students and / or university financial assistance departments may contact MSA to seek a scholarship or inquire about enrolling in the program; however, Triumph Awards are granted directly to the university or college. The Triumph Awards Committee will make final decisions based on participation of a particular educational institute and amounts and number of awards to be granted.

Triumph Awards
are for one (1) year and recipients can only receive the award once during their academic career. Funds may be utilized to assist with tuition, housing, books, or other academic purposes. Awards vary, but typically are for a total of $2,000. Participating universities often choose recipients that are currently facing difficult medical bills because of their recent battle with cancer.
